A youth was killed by miscreants and two others were injured critically on Wednesday night at Lal Hospital intersection under Khalishpur police station in Khulna city. The injured youths were admitted in Khulna Medical College Hospital ( KMCH ).
The deceased was identified as Md. Asif, 25, son of Habibur Brahman , residence at Khalishpur Tayeba Colony under Khalishpur police station in the city.
The injured youths are – Md. Zobayer and Md. Rana of the same area.
Police and eye-witnesses said , on Wednesday night at around 9 pm , a gang of some unidentified miscreants swooped on the above mentioned youths and stabbed with sharp weapons while Asif died on the apot and two others were injured critically.
Sabbirul Alam, Officer in charge (OC) of Khalishpur police station said, on getting information police visited the spot. He said adding that police are trying to identify and arrest the culprits.
