A mobile court here on Thursday sentenced a young man to one year imprisonment for allegedly stalking a college girl in Mohammadpur upazila.
The convict is Shanta Biwas, 20, son of Patit Kumar of Saldha village in the upazila.
Local people said Shanta used to stalk the girl on her way to college from home.
On Thursday, victim’s family informed the matter to police who produced
Shanta before a mobile court where he admitted his guilt.
