District detective police of Chittagong rounded up one fake currency note trader from Sarkarhat bazaar under Hathazari upazila on Thursday .
Police recovered Tk.1 lakh of fake notes consists of 100 pieces of Tk.1000 each .
The detained identified as Md. Yonus(28) , son of Abdul Baten of Fatikchari upazila . His accomplice Md. Elias quickly escaped from the spot sensing the presence of the law enforcers. Additional Superintendent of Police (SB) Md. Naimul Hasan told that acting on secret information, they conducted drive against the fake currency traders and caught Md. Younus red handed from the area.
The other accomplices of Yonus escaped from the spot sensing the presence of policemen, he added.
