UNB, Faridpur :
Police arrested a youth for allegedly violating a minor girl at West Khabashpur in the town on Tuesday afternoon.
The arrestee was identified as Jewel, son of Seken Matubbar, a resident of Poradia Village in Nagarkanda upazila.
Maternal uncle of the victim said the girl was admitted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital as she had developed a tonsil in her throat.
On Monday afternoon, a nurse of the hospital took the girl to her house, near to the hospital, for taking a bath.
At that time, Jewel, brother of the nurse, raped the girl, leaving her unconscious.
Later, when the girl regained her sense, she informed the matter to her family members.
