Youth hacked to death in Jashore

A youth, who was a motor worker in profession, was hacked to death by a number of miscreants at Hushtala Kabarsthanpara of Bakchar area in Jashore town. The attack was made at around 7:30 pm on Friday, said locals, police and hospital sources.
The dead was identified as Abdur Rahman Rakib Hossain, 27, son of Litu Sardar of Hushtala Kabarsthanpara.
Tajul Islam, officer in-charge, Kotwali Police Station told New Nation that the youth was killed as a sequence of a clash between two groups of workers at the area that took place few days back.
‘The police have identified the miscreants,’ he added, ‘no case was lodged and none was arrested in this connection.’
Rajib Hossain, younger brother of the dead told newsmen that his brother was declared dead by the attending doctor at Jashore General Hospital after he was taken there was being attacked by a number of miscreant at a tea stall at the locality. Dr Mursalin Rahman, medical officer, Jashore General Hospital told that the victim was brought dead at the hospital.
