Chittagog Bureau :
A court in Chittagong convicted Linkon Das (30) with life- term for violating a dumped handicapped woman .
The court also fined with Tk.50 thousand in the same verdict. Judge of Women and Child repression tribunal-1 Md. Rezaul Karim announced this verdict recently.
The incident of raping occurred in Islam colony of Mohra under Chandgaonthana in city .
Linkon Das is the son of Gouranga Das of Rangunia upazila on 17 aguust, 2008 . After taking depositions of 5 witnesses, the judge declared this judgment on Wednesday last.
Court sources said the convicted Linkon Das is absconding and the verdict declared in his absence.
