A mobile court of Chittagong District Administration on Saturday sentenced a youth to three and a half months imprisonment on charge of teasing a schoolgirl in city’s Bakalia areaExecutive magistrate of Chittagong District Administration, Zhoton Chandra Chanda awarded the sentence to Mohammad Khokan, 25, a garment worker of Raza Khali area under city’s Bakalia thana.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Bakalia thana Mohammad Mohsin said Khokon regularly eve-teased the girl, who is a class eight student of USEF School in Bakalia area, on her way to school.Mother of the victim filed a complaint with Bakalia thana in this connection.
Police arrested Khokan red-handed from Bakalia area around 9.45 am on Saturday and produced him before a mobile court. Later, the court sentenced him to three and a half months’ of imprisonment and sent to him to jail.
