Police recovered the floating body of young man from Icchamati River in Sadar upazila on yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Obaidul Islam, 21, son of Odud Gazi of Uttar Parulia village in Debhata upazila. Locals spotted the body around 10am and informed police.
Obaidul’s brother said that Obaidul remained missing since he left home on December 18 following an argument with his father.
