The police recovered the blood-soaked body of an unidentified youth aged around 25 from near a fish enclosure at Kaliani under Sharsha upazila in Jashore at around 8am on Wednesday.
Being informed by the locals, the police recovered the body and sent it to Jashore General Hospital for post mortem examination, said sub inspector Abdur Rahim, in-charge, Baganchra police investigation centre.
‘The body bore marks of wounds of sharp weapons in 14 places’, he added.
The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately.
