Jessore Correspondent :Benapole port police on Friday morning recovered the body of a youth from the river Ichhamati afloat along Benapole frontier. Shafiuddin, Putkhali camp in-charge, 23 Border Guard Battalion told that Benapole port police recovered the body of an unidentified youth aged about 34 from the river Ichhamati being informed by the locals at around 11am on Friday. ‘It is not clear whether he is a Bangladeshi or Indian,’ he added. Habibur Rahman, sub inspector, Benapole port police station told that being informed by locals and the BGB the police recovered the body from the river. ‘The youth could be killed about 10 day back,’ he added. The body was sent to Jessore Medical College Hospital for autopsy, the police said.
