A youth was electrocuted while charging a mobile phone set at his house in Oxygen area under Bayezid Bostami Police Station in Chittagong city yesterday .
Deceased Mohammad Ali, 17, was the son of Abdus Salam.
Quoting family members, Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost nayek Shilbrato Barua said, Ali electrocuted while charging his cell phone at his house at about 12:45am.
Ali was brought to the CMCH where the on-duty doctors declared him dead, he added.
