A youth was beaten to death allegedly by his cousin and nephew over a family feud at Rashidpur village in Balaganj upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Suruj Mia, 30, son of Tahid Ullah hailing from the village.
Officer-in charge of Balaganj Police Station Md Tariqul Islam said Suruj Mia had long been at loggerheads with his cousin Monir Mia over family dispute.
As a sequel to enmity, Monir and Suruj locked into an altercation on Tuesday around 9am.
