It was three decades ago when dance director Yousuf Khan was working with late film director FI Manik in his film Bisforon. During that time Yousuf met National Film Award winner dance director Amir Hossain Babu. Later Babu gave him chance to perform group dance in Shah Alam Kiron’s Niyotir Khela. Yousuf worked as a dancer in song titled Kon Beimanra Koi. From that time to till now Yousuf has performed in more than 350 movies. He got Amir Hossain Babu Dance Academy Award as Best Dance Director on Thursday at Shilpakala Academy.
After receiving the award Yousuf Khan was excited. He said, “I feel proud to get the award and also paid tribute to the legendary dance director Amir Hossain Babu. I also give thanks to my friend Mehedi Hasan Little and Amir Hossain Babu Dance Academy.”
In childhood, though Yousuf rendered songs in Kisholoy, Notun Kuri, School Bichitra.
