For the last 10 years Ustad Yaqub Ali’s son Yousuf Ahmed Khan has been rendering song professionally. For the first time, he lent his voice for a play-back song. He gave his voice for Shahidul Haque Khan’s movie Juddho Shishu.
Title of the song is Maago tomai ami du’chokh bhore dekhte chai. Sheikh Sadi Khan has composed its tune while Ujjal Sinha has arranged its music.
Its recording has already been done. In fact, Yousuf feels it is an achievement for him to render any play-back song under Sheikh Sadi Khan’s composition.
Yousuf said, “Though the song yet not released officially but everybody appreciated it after listening. I am grateful to Shahidul Haque Khan and Sheikh Sadi Khan to give me the opportunity to render this song.”
