Youngmen’s Club Fakirerpool beat Victoria SC by 2-0 goals in the Minister Fridge Bangladesh Championship Football League at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Tuesday.
After a barren first half, Alamgir put Youngmen’s Club ahead in the 63rd minute while Russel confirmed the team’s victory adding one more goal in the 68th minute.
With the day’s feat, Youngmen’s Club Fakirerpool have secured 15 points while Victoria SC remained at 14 points playing matches each.
In the two vital matches of the league on Wednesday, Arambagh KC will play Police AC at Bangabandhu National Stadium at 3 pm while holders Uttar Baridhara will face Agrani Bank Ltd SC at 2:45 pm at the Kamalaput Stadium.
