Youngmens Club emerged as the champions of the Walton 2nd Cox’s Bazar Beach Football Tournament when they beat Coatbazar Players Association by 4-2 goals in the final at the Laboni Point of Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach on Tuesday.
After the entertaining final match, First Senior Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
General Secretary of Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association Anup Barua Apu and Joint-Secretary of the Association Harunur Rashid were present at the time.
The champions were awarded Tk 20,000, trophy and medals while the runners-up were given Tk 15,000, trophy and medals.
Afsar of Youngmens Club was adjudged the best player of the meet.
A total of eight teams took part in the football competition.
