Youngmens Club became champions of the Walton 1st Cox’s Bazar Beach Football Tournament when they beat Abahani Krira Chakra by 6-5 goals in a hard-fought final at the Laboni Point in Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach on Wednesday.
Masud Alam of Youngmens Club hit a hat-trick and his teammates Zisan, Monsoor, Mukut scored one goal each.
On the other hand, Abu Hanif and Koushik Barua of Abahani Limited scored two goals each and their teammate Dhiman Barua netted one goal.
After the final match Additional DC of Cox’s Bazar district Md Sobhan distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, President of Cox’s Bazar city Awami League Mujibur Rahman, Executive Member of BFF Bijon Barua, Senior Principal Officer of Walton Mehrab Hossain Asif were with him as special guests.
