One person was killed while two brothers locked in clashes over fishing in pond owned by the family members at Gopalpur village under Jessore Sadar Upazila on Friday night.
The dead is identified as Ferdaus, 40, son of Shabeb Ali of Gopalpur village. Younger brother, the alleged killer, Abu Daud, 35 was undergoing treatment at Jessore Medical College Hospital under police custody, said police and hospital sources.
Shikder Akkas Ali, officer in-charge, Kotwali police station told that Ferdaus died at Jessore Medical College Hospital while he was undergoing treatment at the hospital at around 11:30pm on Friday.
The duo was rushed to the hospital after they were locked in clashes over fishing in a pond owned by the family members on Friday noon.
