The younger brother of former Mayor Manzoor Alam passed away(Innah……Rajeun) due to prolong illness at a city private clinic at 2pm on Sunday.
The demise was under treatment at Max Hospital in city . He was 57. He left behind three sons, one daughter, three brothers , one sister and a number of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
Late Abul Kashem was the uncle of Md. Didarul Alam MP and younger brother of former Mayor Manzoor. He was buried at his family graveyard in Kattali in city after his namaj Janaza at Mostafa Hakim University College ground held at 2 pm yesterday.
In a press release of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry expressed shocked at the immature death of a business personality and express sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.
City dwellers irrespective of opinions thronged in the namaz -e- janaza and prayed for salvation of the departed soul.
