Police on Saturday recovered the body of an anonymous young woman from Kuril flyover area in the capital.
Khilkhet Police Station officer-in-charge Sabbir Ahmed Munshi said locals spotted the body at Kuril flyover area at about 10.00am and informed police.
Being informed, police recuperated the body, said the OC adding that details of the deceased could not be known immediately.
He further said the body was found on the flyover slope that went down toward 300 feet road.
The victim might have asphyxiated to death, said the OC. Crime scene unit of Criminal Investigation Department has arrived at the spot.
