Mymensingh DSA beat Jamalpur DSA by 17 runs in the Dhaka division north venue opener of the BCB Young Tiger’s Under-14 Cricket tournament at Shaheed Muktijoddha Smiriti Stadium here on Saturday.
In the day’s 50 over-a-side match, batting first after winning the toss, Mymensingh scored only 85 runs for all in 29 overs with all rounder Rafeed Jahan scoring team highest not out 20 runs. Later, Rafeed took three wickets for 7 runs in 9 overs for his side.
Chasing a meager target of 86 runs, Jamalpur DSA were miserably all out for 68 runs in 34.3 overs.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner of Sherpur district Zakir Hossain ineagurated the age based divisional meet as the chief guest.
