T20 Cricket: Young Talent Cricketers Academy emerge champions

Young Talent Cricketers Academy clinched the Maan Water Pump T20 Academy Cricket League beating Bright Cricket Academy by four wickets in the final at the Mohammapur Physical Education College ground on Wednesday.
Bright Cricket Academy batted first and were all out for 127 runs in 18.5 overs with Shahadat Hossain Hridoy making 42 and Amir 19 runs.
Jubair grabbed four wickets for 19 runs.
In reply, Young Talent Cricket Academy reached their target scoring the match-winner 128 runs for 6 in 17.1 overs.
Ramesh quick-fired 24-ball 46 runs and was adjudged man of the final.
Amir of the Bright Cricket Academy scored 127 runs and grabbed six wickets in the tournament to be adjudged man of the series.
Presidium member of ruling Awami League Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim MP was the chief guest in the final and later he distributed the prizes. Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy MP was also present as a special guest.
The champions team was awarded with a prize money of Tk 100,000 while the runners-up team got Tk 50,000 as prize money.
A total of 12 Cricket Academy teams took part in the 11-day meet.
