Young generation urged to turn grief of losing Bangabandhu into strength

Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman urged young generation to turn the grief of the loss of Bangabandhu into strength and work for the welfare of the neglected, underprivileged, poor and helpless people of the country.
“Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had always work for the welfare of the neglected, underprivileged, poor and helpless people of the country to build a liberal, secular, humanistic and inclusive advanced society,” said Akhtaruzzaman, reports BSS.
He said this on Monday while addressing a mourning discussion, organized by the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) marking the 47th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Mourning Day, said a press release.
 Urging the teachers to concentrate more on innovation, Dr Akhtaruzzaman said, “Bangabandhu’s dream of ‘Sonar Bangla’ should be built through innovations and research.”
Awami Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and Coordinator of MBA Program Professor Dr. Md. Rezaul Kabir also addressed the program, with DU IBA Director Mohammad Abdul Momen in the chair.
