Science and technology Minister Yeafesh Osman inspected the newly constructed Science and Technology Complex building at Agargaon in the capital.
After visiting the project site on Wednesday, he said the newly constructed Science and Technology Complex building is a big achievement of the government towards building a digital Bangladesh.
Mentioning that Bangabandhu was killed to push the country backward, he said, “if the engineers work with honesty, a revolution will take place in the development of the country.”
The minister visited the auditorium, seminar room, multipurpose hall, cafeteria and other rooms of the 14-storey building.
A total of Taka 222 crore has been spent for the construction of this building with the help of Public Works Department.
Among others, Director General of the National Museum of Science and Technology Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Joint Secretary of the ministry Md. ManzurRahman and senior engineers of the Department of Public Works and Architecture were present.
