A Yaba trader who was stabbed on April 16 died at Chattogram Medical College Hospital here on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Khorshed Alam Babu, 34, son of Md Ayub Ali, resident of Haji Para area under Double Mooring Police Station.
AKM Mohiuddin Selim, officer-in-charge of the police station, said Babu had a dispute with another Yaba trader Raju centering the drug business.
On April 16, Raju stabbed Babu, leaving him critically injured, police said.
Later, Babu was admitted to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at night. Babu stabbed Raju around one and half months ago. After being recovered, Raju attacked Babu as revenge.
