The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka on Wednesday deferred the date for submission of the investigation report in Zulhaz Mannan and Mahbub Tanoy murder case to March 15.
Magistrate Begum Mahmuda Akhter of the CMM Court passed order as the investigation officer of the case could not submit any report report yesterday.

Some unidentified miscreants hacked to death USAID staff Xulhaz Mannan, editor of LGBT magazine Roopban, and his friend Mahbub Tanoy, an activist of theatre group Loknatya Dal at an apartment in Kalabagan area of the city on April 25, 2016. Xulhaz was protocol officer of former US ambassador Dan W Mozina.
Xulhaz’s elder brother Minhaz Mannan Emon filed the murder case with the Kalabagan Police Station, while SI Mohammad Shamim of the same police station filed an arms case with the police station.
