Director General (DG) of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Dr Mukhisa Kituyi and Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Roberto AZEVEDO will visit Bangladesh in the middle of the year.
WTO Director General and UNCTAD Secretary General said this at a meeting with Commerce Minister in Geneva, Switzerland, a commerce ministry official said on Sunday quoting the meeting source.
They also praised Bangladesh’s progress in the field of trade and commerce.
During the meeting, they applauded Bangladesh for capacity building in trade and commerce utilizing the facilities of the WTO, success in achieving millennium development goals, employment generation and per capita capital.
