Discussion on writing verdicts after retirement by Supreme Court (SC) judges again came to the centre with request from Justice AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury Manik to Chief Justice (CJ) Surendra Kumar Sinha to accept judgements he has written after his retirement.
It saw development in three directions. Justice Shamsuddin complaint Justice Abdul Wahhab Miah did not receive his copies of judgements and orders as presiding judge of the SC he was sitting. Justice Wahab however claimed such judgements and orders were not presented to him.
Meanwhile, the CJ has asked Shamsuddin to return all files pending with him forthwith.
