The High Court on Wednesday directed the physicians concerned to write the autopsy report of a dead body in clear handwriting.
At the same time the court asked them to enclose a typed copy of the autopsy report with the hand written report.
Health Secretary, Director General of Health Services and all the Civil Surgeons have been asked to implement the direction.
The High Court bench of Justice Obaidul Hassan and Justice AKM Zahirul Huq passed the order while hearing on an autopsy report prepared by a physician of Cox’s Bazar which is unreadable due to obscure hand writing.
The report was prepared by Dr Sultan Ahmed Siraji, a Residential Medical Officer of Cox’s Bazar Government Hospital, after the murder of Saiful Islam, a student of Khurukul High School of Cox’s Bazar, reading in class VIII.
Meanwhile, the High Court granted bail to an accused, Md Arif, a classmate of slain Saiful Islam, for six months in the case.
Advocate Das Topan Kumar appeared in the court on behalf of Md Arif while Deputy Attorney General Barrister Md Sarwar Hossain Bappy stood for the State.
