The under-16 wrestling players’ selection and training program from grassroots level concluded on Thursday last at Satkhira and Thakurgaon district, said a press release.
At the Satkhira district stadium, local Law Maker of Satkhira-2 constitution freedom fighter Mostak Ahmed Robi was the chief guest on the closing day and handed over certificates to the participants.
Abdul Kashem M Mohiuddin, Deputy Commissioner of Satkhira, was also present as special guest. By the financial support of National Sports Council and organized by Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation, national coach Mizanur Rahman conducted the ten-day training course.
On the other hand in Thakurgaon Mohammad Ali Stadium, Takkugaon District Sports Association’s general secretary M Mahmudur Rahman was the chief guest and handed over the certificates National coach Ashraf Ali conducted the training course participated by twenty boys and girls participants.
