With the theme ‘Safe and Effective Medicines for All’, World Pharmacists Day was observed on Wednesday at Dhaka University (DU) in a befitting manner.
The day was observed through elaborate programmes which include colourful rally, Pharma Olympiad, poster exhibition and a discussion.
Dean of Pharmacy Faculty Dr SM Abdur Rahaman, Vice-President of Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh M Mosaddek Hossain, Technical Officer of World Health Organisation (WHO) Mohamed Ramzy Ismail and Senior Health Specialist of World Bank (WB) Dr Aissatou Diack spoke at the discussion with DU Pharmacy Department Chairperson Sitesh Chandra Bachar in the chair.
