Department of Public Health of Daffodil International University (DIU) observed the World Health Day 2017 through elaborate programme including rally and seminar.
To mark the day Department of Public Health organized a rally as a starter of the observation to spread out the awareness on WHO nominated global theme of the day “Depression: Let’s Talk” on Friday from Daffodil Tower on Mirpur Road and paraded main streets of Dhanmondi areas with different colorful banner and festoons.
The rally was attended, among others, by Prof Dr. S M Keramot Ali, Dr. Md. Shahjahan, Dr. Salamat Khandker, Associate Professor , Department of Public Health, Dr. Jahidur Rashid Sumon, Managing Director of Center for Medical Ultra Sound and Doppler (CMUD) .
On the occasion the department organized a seminar titled “Depression: Let’s Talk” of “World Health Day – 2017” on Saturday.
