Although the US voters have elected Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden as the 46th president in the November 3 presidential election by massive vote, the outgoing president Donald Trump is still in an insane world of his to think he can ignore the election results and remain in power by organising muscle power and abusing his official position as transitional President.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden has gained same big victory in Georgia after recount as insisted by Trump and followers. His legal objection by filing court cases were tossed out. Still his greed for power remained undoubtedly undiminished. He is simply a disgrace to himself.
What is most alarming for the world is to see under American great democracy there are many otherwise sensible and highly placed political leaders and elected representatives in the Congress to whom party loyalty is more important than the greatness of America. They support a mentally deranged un-American Trump. We are sure that American people’s democratic spirit and democratic institutions shall prevail over Trump.
In a strange news conference on Thursday, Trump’s attorneys claimed without evidence that there was a centralised conspiracy with roots in Venezuela to rig the US presidential election.
There may be another reason for going mad by Trump and his followers that they tried hard and spent huge money to manipulate the election but did not work.
However, the evil influence of Trump will definitely end on 20th January when Joe Biden will be sworn in as the President. Democracy will triumph and the world would be a safer place. Thanks to American people who came out in such large numbers as never before to ensure Trump’s departure.
According to the international media, Trump’s government has pursued policies at home and abroad those are detrimental to the ideals of democracy, liberalism and world peace. His ‘America First” politics was to isolate America for the victory of expansionist authoritarianism of the communist world.
Another four years of Trump would have given the world an American Hitler. Thank God he is going.
