The inaugural ceremony of three-day international workshop entitled “Workshop on Preparation of Nomination File for UNESCO World Heritage List” will be held at 9 am at BANBEIS Bhaban in the city’s Nilkhet area today. The workshop will be jointly organised by Department of Archaelogy, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Bangladesh, Korean National Commission for UNESCO, Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea and Bangladesh National Commission for UNESCO (BNCU) under Ministry of Education.Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, MP, will be present as the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony. Senior Secretary of Public Administration Ministry Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury will be present as special guest while Dr Muhammed Sadique, Secretary of Education Ministry and Secretary General of BNCU will chair the opening session.
