A four daylong workshop on ‘Trainers for Tutor Training’ commenced recently at the seminar hall of Bangladesh Open University jointly organized by Commonwealth of learning Canada and the University.
The aim of the workshop is to provide an overview on tutor training, skills for conducting tutorial services, familiarize the theories and practices of ODL system, acquire knowledge on self learning materials (SLMs), use of ICT in teaching and learning, develop manual for tutor training, Assessment evaluation process for the faculty and officer of the university.
A total of 35 faculty and officers are attaining in the Workshop. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr MA Mannan, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Khondokar Mokaddem Hossain, Treasurer Prof Dr Md. Abu Taher, Prof Dr Qazi Mohammad Galib Ahsan Dean School of Business, Prof Dr Md. Mohsin Uddin School of Education, Md Mizanoor Rahman Assistant Professor Open School are the resource persons of the workshop.
Prof Dr Khondokar Mokaddem Hossain is Co-ordinating the four day long Workshop and Training and Research section of the university provides all support in the workshop.
