A three-day international workshop on ‘Managing Technological Innovation for Global Competition’ will begin at Daffodil International University (DIU) Auditorium in the city on April 28.
Daffodil International University (DIU) is organizing the workshop at the Banquet Hall, Daffodil International University Tower-05, Sobhanbag, Mirpur Road.
Prof Dr. Nawaz Sharif, Principal Consultant of Myriad Solutions, USA, is the facilitator of the workshop. He is also a director of the UN-ESCAP’s Asian and Pacific Center for Transfer of Technology (APCTT), India.
Dr Sharif was engaged in various science and technology for economic development related project consultancy work sponsored by the World Bank, ADB, IDB, UNDP, UNESCO and UNIDO.
The three-day workshop will groom industrial enterprise executives for consolidating their capacity to compete and become significant members of the ‘global value chain’ through continuous productivity improvement and technology-based new product development strategy.
