Speakers at a workshop here on Sunday underlined the need for concerted efforts of people of all walks of life for building up the country as “Sonar Bangla” free from poverty, hunger and corruption by ensuring sustainable development goal (SDG). This views was expressed at a workshop on ” localiSation , investment planning in personal sector, creating of entrepreneurs and development of skills to ensure SDG held at the conference room of Netrakona Dc office here on Sunday last. District administration organized the workshop. Additional Divisional Commissioner Mymensing Division Md, Muzammel Haque addressed the inaugural session of the workshop as Chief Guest while DC Netrakona Dr. Musfiqur Rahman was in the chair .
It was addressed, among others, by Chairman of Netrakona Zilla Parishad Prasanta Ray, Mayor of Netrakona Pourasava Nazrul Islam Khan, deputy civil surgeon Netrakona Dr. Nilutfal Talukder , president of Netrakona Sader upazila Awami League Bazlul Kader Shahjahan, former commander of District Muktizoddha Sangsad Nurul Amin and General Secretary of Netrakona Press Club Shamolendu Paul. A total of 100 persons including public representatives, government officers, political leaders, teachers, NGO officers, local elite and journalists participated in the workshop.
