A workshop titled ‘Snail Oyster Cultivation and Prospects: Research Progress’ was held at Adamdighi, Bogra on Saturday. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Chief Scientific Officer (Planning), Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute, Mymensingh was the chief guest at the workshop organized by Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute, Flood Land Sub-Center, Santahar on Saturday afternoon. Adamdighi Upazila Chairman Fisherman Sirajul Islam Khan Raju, Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Salma Begum Champa, Naogaon District Fisheries Officer Firoz Ahmed and others were special guests at the workshop held at Shefali Convention Center at Upahar Tower in Santahar town of Adamdighi Upazila of Bogra.
The workshop was chaired by Dr. David Rentu Das, Senior Scientific Officer in charge of Fisheries Research Institute and Flood Land Sub-Center at Santahar and conducted by Scientific Officer Mahila Khanam.
