DCCI Business Institute (DBI) held a workshop on “Shipping Procedures for Export and Import and Customs Formalities” on October 13-14 on its premises, says a press release.
Ten business professionals nominated by different prominent organizations participated in the workshop.
Md. Arif Khan, CEO and Chief Consultant, (Commercial Supply Chain and Corporate), FMS Group, Sulivan Consulting & Learning Services conducted the training as resource person, said a DCCI press release.
M. Abu Hurairah, director of DCCI, attended the closing and certificate awarding ceremony held on October 14. While sharing his life story as an importer and exporter, he stated that shipping procedures is an indispensable document in international business.
Considering competitiveness in global market, main activities of business houses are procurement, marketing and knowing domestic and international procedures for export and import, he said, adding that so, skilled, efficient, knowledgeable and trained manpower is a must for success in international trade.
