Institute of Research and Training (IRT), Southeast University (SEU) organized a workshop on ‘Research Design’. The workshop was held on Saturday at the Seminar Hall of SEU main building at Banani in the capital. A total number of 60 faculty from SBS, English and Economics participated in the workshop.
Dr Sohela Mustari, Director (IRT), SEU inaugurated the workshop. Prof Dr AFM Mafizul Islam, the Vice Chancellor of SEU delivered introductory speech highlighting the importance of undertaking Research Projects by the faculties. Prof Dr Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury, the Pro-Vice Chancellor of SEU presented on the issue as a Resource Person. He discussed on various key issues of Research Design by following different steps.
Among others, Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed, SPP, psc (Retd), Registrar of SEU, Prof Syed Fakhrul Hassan, Dean (Acting) of School of Science and Engineering, Dr Mehe Zebunnessa Rahman, Director, BBA Program, Harunur Rashid Khan, Chairman, Dept of English and Dr Talukder Golam Rabby, Chairman (Acting), Dept of Economics were present at the workshop.
