Department of Economics of the Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) has organised a day long workshop on reference management software called MENDELEY by the title “LET’S MENDELEY: Managing and Organizing your Reference.”
Mendeley is one of the most acceptance software for academicians and researchers which helps them to do their work efficiently and effectively. They can spend their time making discoveries. Researchers find it a convenient tool to organize their library, read and annotate write and cite.
The workshop held on Sunday virtually through ZOOM.
Md Muhibbullah, PhD candidate and Part-Time Lecturer in Economics at International Islamic University Malaysia is an expert on referencing for research publications.
The workshop is presided over by Dr. Md Nazmus Sadekin, Dean, Faculty of Social Science and Chairman, Department of Economics at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Tangail.
The instructor mainly shows how to manage and organize references for research works using the well known reference management tool: MENDELEY.
This workshop will inspire students and researchers to mainly focuses on the basic knowledge that encourages students to move forward with the basic skills.
The session was moderated by Masroaf Shahrin Shimanto, a 4th year undergraduate student of the department of Economics, MBSTU.
The students found this training charming and beneficial for career success.
