Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU) organized a two-day workshop on “Quality Assurance in Higher Education”. “Academic Quality Assurance and Evaluation Department” of the university arranged the workshop in collaboration with Graduate Training Institute, BAU, Mymensingh at its temporary campus located at Pallabi in the capital.
Dean of Faculty of Maritime Governance and Policy, Commodore M Ziauddin Alamgir, (L), NGP, fdc, psc, BN inaugurated the workshop. Prof Dr M Mozahar Ali, Director, GTI, BAU, Mymensingh conducted the two day long workshop. Faculties, Officers and Staffs of the university attended the workshop with full enthusiasm.
Vice Chancellor Rear Admiral ASM Abdul Baten was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distributed certificates among the participants.
The chief guest expressed his thoughts that, participants after completing the workshop will receive important guidelines both on professional responsibility and also on personal skill development.
Moreover, he hoped that faculty members attending the workshop through their developed teaching methods and strategies will contribute to the academic progress and prosperity of the university and make valuable contribution to the overall development of the country.
