“Inception workshop on self assessment and quality assurance of pharmacy program” was held at Gono Bishwabidyalay campus on Saturday. The workshop was organized by the Pharmacy Department of the university at the seminar room of academic building.
Prof Mesbahuddin Ahmad, Vice-Chancellor was the chief guest and special guests were Prof Dr Md. Delwar Hossain, Pro vice-Chancellor and Md. Delower Hossain, Registrar of Gono Bishwabidyalay. The chief guest said in his speech “The infrastructure facilities of Gono Bishwabiodyalay are better than other private universities of the country. Now we have to be sincere our profession and maintain the standard quality for students enrollment.
The IQAC Director of Gono Bishwabidyalay and head of Microbiology Department Prof Dr Md. Mostafizer Rahman presented the keynote paper while Prof Dr. Md. Ashraf Ul Karim Khan, Dean, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences of Gono Bishwabiyalay, Prof Mafruhi Sattar, Pharmacy Department of Dhaka University and Prof Dr Sukalyan Kumar Kundu, Pharmacy Department of Jahangirnagar University were present among others. Dr Golam Mohammad, Head, Self Assesment Committee, Pharmacy Department of Gono Bishwabidyalay chaired the workshop.
