Chattogram Bureau :
A four day long workshop on “Rules of journalism, objective news making and Press council Act & Code of Conduct” was concluded recently in the port city. Secretary of Press council (joint secretary) Md. Shah Alam presided over the concluding session. Former Press Advisor to the Prime Minister and Editor of Daily Observer Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury was the chief guest at the event.
Journalist and colunmist Syed Ishtiaq Reza was present in it as special guest. About 26 journalists of print and electronic media from Dhaka and chattogram took part in the workshop duly moderated by Press council Super Md. Shakawat Hossain. Certificates have been distributed among the participants.
