A five-day long workshop on ‘Innovation in Public Service’ arranged by Access to Information (a2i) project under Prime Minister’s office with the help of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) began at the Rangamati office of Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board (CHTDB) on Sunday.
Chairman of CHTDB and Secretary of the Ministry of CHT Affairs Naba Bikram Kishore Tripura inaugurated the workshop as chief guest.
Course Coordinator and Member Secretary of CHTDB Ashish Kumar Barua chaired the opening session. Among others, Vice-Chairman of CHTDB Tarun Kanti Ghosh, Member (Finance) of CHTDB Shahinul Islam, Join Secretary of the Ministry of CHT Affairs ABM Nasirul Alam, and Member (Implementation) of CHTDB Nurul Alam Chowdhury, also spoke in the programme.
A total of 32 officials from Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban hill district councils, Chittagong Hill Tracts Regional Council, CHT Refugee Taskforce, and CHTDB participated in the workshop.
