Workshop on human trafficking prevention held in Cox’s Bazar

A workshop on prevention of human trafficking under Police Reform Programme of UNDP was held at the hall room of Star Quality Hotel in Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday. The workshop started at about 11:00am and ended at 3:00pm.
Additional Inspector General of Police (DIG) Chittagong Division , Mosarrof Hossen attended the programme as the chief guest. 30 participants received certificates for successful completion of training from the chief guest.
At the beginning of the workshop PRP’s Capacity Building Specialist Endrayes D Le Raw Redman presented the articles on human trafficking and smuggling.
Mohammed Azad Miah, Superintendent of Police(SP) of Cox’s Bazar delivered the welcome address at the workshop.
Abu Morshed Chowdhury Khuka, President of Cox’s Bazar Civil Society and chief of NGO Palsh, Chief of Prothom Alo Cox’s Bazar office, Abdul Kuddus Rana, Btv Cox’s Bazar Correspondent and Secretary of Cox’s Bazar Journalist Union, Jahed Sarwar Shohel were spoke in open discussion.
Official of Many social organization who worked with prevention of human trafficking and several NGOs and police officials were present at the programme.
