A workshop on organic cultivation and primary processing of herbal food and cosmetics plants was held at Sylhet on Tuesday. .
The two- day long seminar jointly organised by Bangladesh Herbal Food and Cosmetics Association (BHFC) and Medicinal Plants and Herbal Products Business Promotion Council (MPHP BPC) under the Ministry of Commerce.
Civil Surgeon of Sylhet district Dr. Md. Azharul Islam attended as Chief Guest presided over by the of BHFC General Secretary Principal Abdur Rab Khan. Principal of Sylhet Government Tibbia College Dr. Md. Masukur Rahman and BPC Executive Fatema Nargis attended as special guests. Dr. Md. Maniruzzaman and A. K. M Fahmidul Haque presented the seminar paper.
