A daylong workshop on ‘Food Safety : Consumer perspective’ will be held in the port city at Circuit house auditorium today .
The workshop will be ingurated at 10 am . Bangladesh Food Safety Network, Consumers Association of Bangladesh(CAB) and District Administraton of Chittagong. jointly organized the workshop. Divisional Commissioner of Chittagong Md. Abdullah will grace the occasion as chief guest . Chief executive officer of city corporation Kazi Safiul Alam, Divisional Director of Health Directorate in Chittagong Dr. Alauddin Majumder, Civil surgeon of Ctg Dr. M Sarfaraz Khan Chowdhury will attend the workshop as special guests.
Deputy commissioner of Chittagong Mezbahuddin Ahmed will preside the workshop programs, a CAB sources said.
