Workshop on e-commerce at DIU

Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a workshop titled ‘E-Commerce: Issues Relating to Access’ at Auditorium-52 of the University on Thursday. Director of Student Affairs (DSA) of the University and Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) jointly organized the workshop.
The workshop was conducted by Shah Shaifullah Al Zakerin, Senior Executive, Building Technology and Idea Ltd, a specialist on e-commerce. Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer, DIU, Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Head, Department of Business Administration, Syed Mizanur Rahman Raju, Director of Students’ Affairs and Omar Mostafiz, Program Executive, Friedrich Naumann Foundation were also present at the workshop.
Shah Shaifullah Al Zakerin said, e-commerce business is a new idea in Bangladesh.
But it’s growing very rapidly. Young entrepreneurs are involving this sector with great interest and consumers are also becoming use to in e-commerce. So, it is time to make business in e-commerce. If young entrepreneurs run with proper plan and keep up their goal, they must be successful in e-commerce.
He also said, online business is easy than offline business. Because, if anyone want to do business in offline, he/she must have a large sizes storeroom for storing products.
But if anyone wants to do business in online, he/she need not to store in rooms. He/she just increases his/her online server. It is the main benefits and strength of e-commerce business.  
 Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer, DIU said that people are becoming dependable and technology friendly in day by day.
Nowadays most of the people buy their necessary products from e-commerce. Because they want to save their time and they want to avoid harassment of local market. At this time he gives thank to Friedrich Naumann Foundation for being partner of this workshop.
