A 23-day workshop on “Critics of Art and Culture” concluded at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy here on Wednesday.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor joined the concluding session of the event as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the participants.
Chaired by Director General of the academy Liaqat Ali Lucky, among others, art critic Moinuddin Khaled and Secretary to the academy Jahangir Hossain Chowdhury were present.
As many as 82 cultural reporters of different national dailies, TV channels and cultural activists took part in the workshop. They were given training on fine arts, photography, drama, film, recitation, music, dance,
folk culture and Bengali language.
Dr Niranjon Adhikari, Artist Mustafa Monwar, Art Critic Moin Uddin Khaled, Dr Biswajit Ghosh, Cultural Personalities Ramendra Majumder, Ataur Rahman and Vaskar Bondapadhaya imparted training to the participants as resource persons in the workshop that begun on May 26.
